Abandonware / Classic Games

By Craig |

Here are some external download links for some old school games. These were some of my favourite games back in the day. Some are freeware and there are also a few I am unsure about. :)
I loved the Sierra and Lucasarts games the most, mainly because of the story line and characters. Though at times the frustration was beyond imaginable. One either had to work out a puzzle with a mouse or a type out a command/instruction with the keyboard.

Carmageddon
Discworld
Discworld 2 – Mortality Bites
Duke Nukem
Duke Nukem 2
Duke Nukem 3D
Earthworm Jim 2
Golden Axe
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Kings Quest 1 (VGA remake)
Kings Quest 2 (VGA remake)
Kings Quest 3 – To Heir is Human
Kings Quest 4 – The Perils of Rosella
Leisure Suit Larry : In the Land of the Lounge Lizards (VGA remake)
Leisure Suit Larry 2
Leisure Suit Larry 3 : Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals
Lemmings
The Secret of Monkey Island
Monkey Island 2 : Lechucks Revenge
Prince of Persia
Police Quest 1 : In Pursuit of the Death Angel
Police Quest 2 – The Vengeance
Police Quest 3 – The Kindred
Quest for Glory 1 – So You Want To Be A Hero (VGA remake)
Quest for Glory 2: Trial by Fire
Quest for Glory 3 : Wages of War
Quest for Glory 4 1/2 : So you thought you were a Hero?
Soldat
Space Quest 0 : Replicated (Prequel to Space Quest 1)
Space Quest 1 : The Sarien Encounter
Space Quest : The Lost Chapter
Space Quest 2 : Vahuals Revenge
Space Quest 3 : The Pirates of Pestulon
Scorched Earth
Syndicate
The Lost Vikings

Yeah im playing Discworld 2 at the mo. Ive added the link.
The Discworld 1 that was there was in French. Ive changed the link to an english version, that one may possibly work better for ya.
Its kickass finding these old school games with Windows installation sotware, ie remakes.
Got quite a few at home, eg california games, Indiana Jones, sonic(knuckles, knuckles and tails), mario bros 4 etc. Easy to install & run.

Oh and thanks for that Earth Worm Jim update :)
Me keen for a lan sometime, been ages. Looking for Jono Lomu now. I remember playing that shit at Toms
